A few months back Wal-Mart decided that I didn't tip enough so no delivery, it wasn't my responsibility to tell them who my guest was, and Mrs Walton was not pleased with her employees.

@MarineBob Walmart employees are not supposed to accept tips. Maybe that employee can go do Door Dash or whatever instead.

I have read several reports of locals who have gotten Walmart deliveries of groceries that they never ordered. They will call Walmart to come back and pick it up and they usually tell them to keep the stuff. Sometimes it is a large order. I think if the order was some types of non-consumable items they would come back and pick it up though.

My son used to drive door dash and what he found was the younger people who lived in nice neighborhoods stiffed him on tips more often than the people who lived in the poorer neighborhoods.

None of those places deliver where I live. I'd probably do a fixed percentage though. Someone with a mercedes that's doing doordash is probably not exactly well off.

I don't get delivery but at a restaurant I tip 20% regardless of service unless something seriously fucked up happened. If the bill is $77.36, I'll tip $15 or $16. I usually round up.
