@Notladylike I prefer mutton to lamb in casseroles - I cook a Liverpool dish called "Scouse" - but I prefer assembling it in a pan on the stove to get the right texture.

@ArtieKat everyone should note, the people of Liverpool are also called Scouse, so "cooking Scouse" and "eating Scouse" can have many different connotations, from the sexual to the cannibalistic.

@Notladylike Anything really, onion, garlic, indian spices, olive oil. Use up any aging vegetables....

Ive got a chicken in the oven
Caramelised onions, all the garlic, rosemary, thyme, cinnamon sticks and cloves, a little oregano and pretty much the best part of a bottle of wine
