I can't believe my grandma fell on her face and proceeded to cook for the whole family 2 hours later.

I feel you. But in my case the whole family agreed my grandma couldn’t cook anymore. She had a gas stove and her daughters simply stopped paying for her gas. Because she would forget things in the oven frequently as she aged , and one day she almost burned herself bad.

I felt a bit bad that she couldn’t cook, because she was so good at it , but it was the best thing for her.

Maybe she insisted
