@ArtieKat
"Not eating living things" isn't a lifestyle choice; it's suicide. Plants are living things.
That's the slippery slope fallacy.
not eating living things is an ethical, lifestyle choice.

What are we going to see next: bovinevegan? Eats plants and bloody steaks but no other kind of meat or fish, drinks only cows milk???? 😂
That's the slippery slope fallacy.

@ArtieKat Most vegans I've ever known practice veganism to prevent animal suffering and protect the environment. The consumption of sessile bivalves is far, far more environmentally conscious and friendly to sentient life than most farmed crops under conventional farming practices.

I think you should embrace it , bivalves taste delicious 🤤.

@SW-User oh yeah, I love 'em. Before I went vegan, my mom would buy me clam chowder at the supermarket and it was positively divine.

I really liked the clam chowder my mom made. She knew I didn't like the 'rubbery' clam bits, so put them in a strainer thingy...in the saucepan.
I'm guessing a plant-based milk would work fairly well, in making clam chowder.
