Morning here and time for coffee!

What kind of coffee maker/process do you like to use?

We just have a regular Mr Coffee machine. We brew a pot at a time.

@Howudoin Maybe. My wife has developed health issues and had to give coffee up so these days I just make it for me.

Ah yes, the morning coffee routine... it makes waking up worthwhile. My first cup or two is a hurry-up and get the caffeinated thing going, so I use an older Keurig which instead of using pods, I use a filter basket and paper filter and fresh ground coffee beans of a medium dark roast.

After cup two and about the time I have breakfast, I use my espresso maker and fresh ground darker beans to make a nice macchiato.

@Howudoin It does take a bit of playing and I've got it down to a 50/50 mix of a dark Italian roast and 7 out of 10 dark Italian roast beans finely ground and .75 ounces of the oat milk steamed but not frothed, with a quarter teaspoon of sugar and it's as close to heaven as I'll ever get.

Being retired allows time to enjoy the finer things in life.

@Howudoin Nope. It is a painful experience. But I used to love dark roast, black coffee. Strong and thick like motor oil. Maybe that's why it doesn't agree with me anymore 😂

@Howudoin Yes . Start with half cup add water and heat . When about half done , quit till next day . Some days it doesn't work that way . Need more , but when empty . I make tea . Love ginger tea .
