@Howudoin Yes . Start with half cup add water and heat . When about half done , quit till next day . Some days it doesn't work that way . Need more , but when empty . I make tea . Love ginger tea .

@anoderod55 that's an...interesting process for sure. I have an espresso machine and just make one cup of americano at a time when the mood hits
