I think of all of them I am MOST fond of Orange Cranberry. At least, I used to love orange cranberry muffins, which are very much the same. Banana is the second runner up, and after that, Pumpkin bread.

My Pillsbury cookbook calls these Quick Breads.
@4meAndyou I made an orange cranberry bunt yesterday 😛

@4meAndyou I have dried cranberries, will they work well for orange-cranberry bread?
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Yup. In fact, I have always used craisins when making quick bread or muffins. If you like, you can add 1/8 cup more liquid to allow the craisins to expand.

@4meAndyou I might stir up some cranberry-orange muffins. Don’t need a recipe to do that.

@4meAndyou that would help, hot water especially. I made date-nut muffins last week from a box of dates that have gotten dried out because they were in the pantry for a couple years. The recipe called for pouring hot water over chopped dates and it softened them up really well.

@cherokeepatti My muffin recipes were always a bit dense. I found that if I used a cake recipe to make muffins, I could make Texas muffins and they would rise nicely like they are supposed to!

@4meAndyou I put a bit more baking powder than the recipes call for and it helps.

@4meAndyou I baked cranberry-orange muffins and they are good.

@cherokeepatti Mmmmm!!! I wish I had some right now! I do have some cranberry walnut bread, though...and it makes very nice breakfast toast!
