Which is better, pumpkin pie or apple pie 🥧

Oh come on don't force me to choose! ;)

I like both but I've never actually made a pumpkin pie myself.

However, I was thinking recently about sourcing an authentic, as possible, recipe and having a go.

I'm from Scotland so it's not big here. But I love researching food from around the world, finding recipes, and cooking or baking them.

I always think of pumpkin pie around this time of year.

I like pie, but I won't eat "pumpkin" anything. Apple is my choice.

It's Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday so as much as I love apple pie, I'm picking up a few pumpkin pies from Costco. This time of year I have to go with pumpkin pie.

What @Poppies said, but a close second is mincemeat or pumpkin (made with fresh pumpkin) pie.

Depends on what I'm in the mood for. Both have their place.
