Surely no one likes Capers

Definitely unpalatable, salty and bitter. Why would anyone want to eat them?
Unripened flower buds, zingy? Nasty more like it.

Capers are edible flower buds found in the Mediterranean, they are not fish.

In Canada, capers are used on bagels with lox (salmon) and cream cheese... but only a few capers are used because they are very salty, but they do add a zest to eating bagels!

The little round pea-looking things are capers... ⤵
