Homity pie

This is a family crowd pleaser dish I believe everyone should know how to make. It uses up left over veggies and kids don't know they are in there.

It's just three or four medium potatoes then you stir or mash in lots of veggies and some strong extra mature cheese. I also add chopped lean bacon too if I have it.

In this pie I added carrots, cabbage, leeks Brussel sprouts and spinach to the cheesy mash, topped with more cheese, some mixed herbs and baked it till golden. 🙂

Looks tasty. My nan made a similar thing with chopped up leftover roast meat and veg. She added a couple of eggs and flour and milk and fried tablespoons of the mixture, which she called meatcakes. They were very tasty and crispy.

A pie with Leeks B-sprouts, cabbage, bacon, cheese, carrots, spinch, and potatoes? Litterally all my favorite things in one dish.
