@BorealPedant Nope. If Schumer votes to reopen government then there will be no food riots. It's really that simple. Democrats value illegal aliens more than American citizens, and even their own constituents.

It is nice that this shutdown has shined a light of EBT abuse. Nearly 50% of Afghan refugees and over 40% of Iraqi refugees are on public assistance, for instance. This has to change. Let's crash that system and replace it with a merit based assistance program. Democrats can call it "Security with Compassion" or some similar buzz word salad.
