I have a friend who is half Italian, and he taught me how to prepare artichokes. He doesn't do them baked or stuffed with cheese. He does them with minced garlic and oil drizzled inside every leaf after boiling for 1 hour.
@jackjjackson breadcrumbs, parmesar cheese, chopped garlic mixed with some olive oil to moisten to make it easier to stuff. steam for about an hour top with mozzarella and pop under the broiler until the cheese melts and browns just a bit
