I used to hate water too, I switched to fizzy water and added fruit tea to make it taste better, I make a strong solution of fruit tea in a french press, take out the tea bags once it's cold and put it through a coffee filter if needed then store it in a jug in the fridge, I add about a fifth of a glass to my fizzy water.
It's surprisingly good, no nasty sweetners or additives, hibiscus tea is my favourite to use but you can use any tea you like.
Since the last time I visited my father, I bought a huge water bottle (64 oz). Each night I fill it, add a little lemon or lime juice and put it in the fridge, because I prefer cold water. The next morning I take it out and drink throughout the day.
I’m finding that I’m emptying that bottle sooner in the day. In the beginning I finished it by around 8 or 9 pm, but yesterday it was empty by 5:00.
The only downside is having to get up and pee at night, but going before bedtime means I can usually hold off until around 6 am.
I get bored with flat spring water. I sometimes add lemon, lime or pomegranate juice, or switch to sparkling mineral water or decaf coffee (Swiss water method, so 99.9% caffeine free)
i drink tons of water nowadays, I used to hate it too 🤣 the more you force yourself to drink, the more you love it. It's strange, but it's like learning to drink coffee. I sodastream all my water though, because I think it's more exciting
I don’t like water either, so I sneak it in early in the morning when I first get to work. First thing I drink before switching to soda. Like two or three bottles. Then soda the rest of the day till evening, when it is beer
