Farm lunches during harvest season when we cooked for everyone that was working on the harvest. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, green beans, rolls, fresh sliced tomatoes and onions, and some type of pie…coconut cream, chocolate cream or banana usually. I was very young but got to help with some of the meal.

I used to buy Alaskan King Crab legs when they were on sale for $16.00 a pound. (those prices are from about 17 years ago).
I would buy 2 pounds! I used to steam them, and serve them with drawn butter, Caesar salad, and focaccia bread. It was absolutely amazing. A real FEAST!!!!

I lived with a chef, so that would be hard to decide... however, I can remember a bowl of fettuccine Alfredo breathing life back into me when I was starving this one time.

A pot of homemade chicken soup I’d made in a crockpot. I set it before work in my first apartment, so I came home to a hot meal. The seasoning was amazing just because it sat all day together. I ate 4 servings. 😬

Paprikaschnitzel mit Pommes Frites, and it may well have been the time, place and circumstance, but I'll never forget that meal, not to mention the mug of German beer I had with it.

There was a restaurant in Vegas that had tacos served in sauce with sour cream, rice, beans. They were done like a burrito. The best thing I've had. I can also cook pretty good on my own so most of my meals are pretty good.
