Does anyone else hate having perfectly good leftovers when you just really want something else entirely - like pizza and a salad??! 🙄

Yep, like this evening... I made black bean soup a couple of days ago and had it for two nights running.

Then tonight, I wanted something else, and so I got up off my lazy bum and went out and got a turkey club and fries... brought it home and sat there smirking at the leftovers as I ate it🙂

I freeze leftovers. I cant eat the same thing two or more days in a row unless its 🐈

I cook for us now..And occasionally my daughter batch cooks a couple of things and sends us a couple of trays.. But with the weather warming up a sald plate is a good stand by..😷

It happens sometimes. 😅 Only that it's usually opposite. I have leftover junk food or something heavy meaty and just can't have it again, I feel I need something easier on stomach.

My leftovers just happen to be pepperoni pizza from Sunday. 😂

Yes, sometimes I just opt to push those leftovers to yet another day.

I say get the pizza and salad and have the leftovers tomorrow 🤷‍♀

I was invited for dinner by a guy I had recently met and when I showed up at his house, he was just in the process of putting what he said was a freshly home-made tray of lasagne into the oven to bake, while suggesting I make myself comfortable in his living room until he got there.

As I walked into his house, I followed him into the kitchen, though he thought I was waiting in his living room and while standing there behind him, I watched as he placed a foil tray of frozen lasagne into the oven which had one square missing from the corner.

So I asked him about the missing square and without reluctance, though appearing somewhat startled to see me standing there behind him, he said that he eaten that corner square the night before for his dinner!
