Sweet or Savory Corn Bread?

I like using sweet corn to make it but don't add extra sugar.

Yes! I will probably be making cornbread, either today or tomorrow, as the bottom layer of a casserole, and I plan to add Splenda instead of sugar.

Have put sour cream and whole corn and creamed corn in before . didn't change the flavor and corn seemed to disappear .

Use honey instead. In the batter..........and baste it with a mixture of honey and melted butter on top as it cools.
