Same, back in the days I preferred it to having to wait for the waiter (kinda ironic it's them being called that, when it's me the one who hast to wait btw) to take the order and bring it on the table, nowadays I'm more focused on the fact that a buffet is pretty much just as hygienic as the participant with the less hygienic standards

@LordShadowfire I had very very unhygienic practices as a kid, like plucking a carrot straight out of a field, rinsing it in the nearby pond or ditch where lived all sorts of amphibians and invertebrates and eating it straight away (without ever developing anything nasty, at least that I know of) so I probably still have some antibodies the size of a U.S. Navy carrier, but nonetheless I'm playing safe 😶
