What foods taste better when made at home instead of store-bought?

Any kind of stir fry dish. Too much preservatives that ruin the taste in store bought types.

Pretty much everything lol. I would say burgers. They're lighter in text and juicier compared to stores.

Macaroni and cheese. Most restaurants just make it "richer" when I want it better!

I think most individuals and groups (from couples to families to various geographic, ethnic, racial, national units) have special recipes which are "their" dishes and which taste better when prepared by someone in/trained by the group, rather than ruined by the homogenization of mass-produced foods.

I've never been to a restaurant that made greens as good as I have had at someone's home who REALLY knew how to make them. I hate to say this but I have dated black girls just to get invited to holiday dinners. ;-)

You haven't tried my cooking. Nothing! Everything tastes better at a good restaurant.

Everything but Chinese food. Anytime a person says they can make Chinese food better than a take out it is some flavorless abomination that is nothing like pork fried ricez General Tao chicken, or mooshoo pork. It always sucks.
