Got milk straight from the cow at my disposal. Don't like drinking it 😅. I'd rather mix it with other foods then eat it.
SW-User
@ThandekaIn where ? 💁‍♂️
Thandeka · 31-35, F
@SW-User The place where cows sleep and all the milking is done.
SW-User
@Thandeka Oh 😲 That place 😌😅

Everyday.
I love it. Proper full cream milk from local dairies.

Recently went to a dinner for a colleague leaving, we all ordered drinks. Everyone looked at mine and asked what was in it...I said 'milk' .
They asked "what else is in it?" .
I told them nothing, it didn't need anything else .
They all went "Ewww"😂

I don't get what grown ups have against drinking milk, it's one of life's luxuries .🤗
@Jexie same. Sometimes I don't feel like dinner or lunch when I'm working, so it's a good in place of a meal.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@OogieBoogie I was born on a farm and we had a Jersey cow for our milk. They give the most cream in their milk and the best flavor.
@OogieBoogie I had a similar thing happen to me when I was younger. My buddy and I went for dinner, and he ordered a beer. The waitress asked him for ID to prove he was old enough. He didn’t have any, so she gave him a big lecture.
She then turned to me and asked what I wanted to drink.
“Milk please.”

My buddy gave me the dirtiest look 😂

one glass of sheep/goat milche every day

occasionally raw cow milche
Whenever Mooed lets me suckle on her udders.
Mooed78 · F
@MsSwan 😉😏
Matt85 · 36-40, M
I use it as little as possible, knowing the dairy industry is a bit cruel.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
never
the closest i get is the occasional ice cream
Mooed78 · F
I have it on tap
IM5688 · 61-69, M
At least 2 glasses of ice cold milk everyday really hits the spot...and if you have those 2 glasses with some Oreo cookies for dunking, that's even better.
Jexie · 26-30, F
@IM5688 oooooh yes nice
helsbels · 26-30, F
On my breakfast only. I'd like to replace it with almond/soya milk etc but it's so much more expensive. I do buy chocolate milk too just for drinking though.
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
I don't. Dairy makes me have sneezing fits. 😅

That being said, ice cream is worth all the sneezing fits in the world. 😌
Sometimes, when I feel like it or in cereal. But I like Buttermilk more so drink that..
@PrincessRoarBuddy No more BIG, underlined Colored words? 😂
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
I used to drink it a lot
until medical issues happened and I no longer like cereal
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
Every day direct from a very nice jersey cow
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TheWildEcho Jersey cows are the sweetest cows of all. The bulls are horrible though. Even the young bull calves a month old have a mean streak in them. My uncle had one on the farm and my father went to feed it on a bucket with a nipple on it. He set the bucket over the fence and pulled the barbed-wire down to climb over the fence and that calf ran up and kicked the bucket over spilling all the milk. My uncle said he was going to be really mean the older he got so he sent him to market and sold him.
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
Mindful · 56-60, F
Only if I have cereal, and for coffee
Cofffee - is daily
GBPackersFan · 41-45, M
Occasionally but I have to add chocolate to it
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@GBPackersFan I have ready that it helps with digesting milk.
SW-User
I’ll use it for cereal but I won’t drink it ..
Every day in my coffee and cereal.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I don’t drink cow’s milk any more. If I drank a glass it’d be like two cats fighting in a pillowcase, that’s what my belly would feel like.
helsbels · 26-30, F
@cherokeepatti What have you replaced it with?

It's not quite as bad as that for me but I do find that milk doesn't quite agree with me either.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@helsbels I drink almond milk, not nearly as tasty but don’t get gastric upset with it. I can cook with a little cow’s milk and not have a problem, butter is not a problem, can have some Greek yogurt. There was a Jersey milk yogurt that seemed to sit well on my stomach too but it’s getting hard to find now, I would have it as a treat about once a month. I tried coconut milk (Silk brand) and it kind of felt kind of acidic after I drank it (I can use canned coconut milk without a problem to cook with) and once bought some Silk Cashew milk…drank about a pint of it and got severely inflamed internally for about 3 days, had to throw it out. I don’t know why it inflamed me, I can eat whole cashew nuts and not have a problem. Have sampled oat milk, loved the texture & flavor but they put too much sugar in it.
helsbels · 26-30, F
@cherokeepatti Interesting, thanks. I'll have to give the alternatives a try.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
Almost never as a "straight beverage". I sometimes have cold cereal, and sometimes I make hot cocoa. Those are pretty much the only times I have milk.
JSul3 · 70-79
When I do drink milk, which is not very often, it's 1%.

I recently read where milk can hydrate the body better than water.
Jexie · 26-30, F
@JSul3 yeah and sure feels like it
I only use it for cooking. I like to keep a quart around for that, but it usually ends up tossed.
SW-User
I don't. Dairy makes me sick.
SW-User
@JSul3 I use unsweetened almond.
JSul3 · 70-79
@SW-User Me too, but am checking out oat and other options due to
almonds require large amounts of water and fertilizer to grow; they also produce tons of waste that can pollute waterways and soil. While these issues are a problem for farmers and manufacturers, they may also be an issue for consumers who eat almonds regularly.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@JSul3 I found the opposite to be true. Was raised on a farm and we had Jersey milk. Jersey cows give more cream than any other cow. I had a hard time getting used to store bought milk when we moved off the farm. And skim milk would be really terrible to digest. I think the problem with processed milk is the pasteurization kills the enzymes that help digest it plus they are using so many chemicals on dairy cows any more.
Freddie222 · M
Just a little semi skimmed or skimmed in tea, coffee and on breakfast cereal. I can’t drink milk on its own. Gag 🤢
exexec · 61-69, C
I don't remember the last time I drank a glass of milk. Maybe it was in high school when there was no other option.
BarbossasHusband · 36-40, M
Pretty much every day. I love moo juice. My stomach doesn't appreciate it, but it's worth it
SW-User
I never drink milk, apart from the leftovers in the cereal bowl.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
I don't drink real milk. I'll drink coconut milk once in a while.
never on it's own but have some in my tea or coffee
