Supermarkets continue to gouge customers

My favourite Scotch Finger biscuits - up 30%
Loaf of bread - up 10%
Milk - up 11%
Tomato sauce - up 8%
Meat up 10%

Will these prices come down?

It's more than that here but it's partly due to the minimum wage hike.

@Spoiledbrat I wish, I have seen studies showing the profit margins have increased out of proportion.
Portions have gotten smaller than I've ever seen. @samueltyler2

@Spoiledbrat that has been happening for years. I remember when coffee was sold in pound cans, then 15 ounces, now 13 ounces!
Coffee has been okay. I just stopped buying it at the local grocery store and started buying it at Costco and shopping in bulk. It's a pain but cheaper. @samueltyler2

@Spoiledbrat Costco has kept the size the same, but the prices have risen tremendously.
On some things but we've been shopping between stores to avoid high prices as much as possible. @samueltyler2

@Spoiledbrat I am speaking specifically about their whole bean decaf coffee. It went from about $12 to $20
Yeah some things have really jumped up. I only buy food that"s reasonably priced and I don't drink decaf. Whew @samueltyler2

@Spoiledbrat decaf is really not that much more than regular. I buy my espresso beans at Wegmans, those started at $12 and now $16 for a kilo.
