Do butcher shops offer a better product?
In general,does a butcher shop offer higher quality meat products then what you'd find at a supermarket?

I haven't been to many, but those I have been to usually offer a broader selection of cuts and more ability to customize what you want. A butcher and a good grocery store are going to have comparable quality with the butcher shop just having more choice and control.
A butcher shop vs something like Walmart, the butcher shop is probably going to win out. But I might be biased from having gotten sick from Walmart meat more than once.
