Beef liver & fried onions, yes; but it has to be tender, with a rich brown gravy, mashed spuds and veggies - peas or such. Chicken liver; don't know, but Paté Fois Gras yes please, on fingers of buttered toast.
Beef liver and onions is great but I’m not sure about any pate or whatever the only patty I know is beef patty also known as a hamburger. 😂 sorry I couldn’t resist.@Really
@Repete That's funny. My own ame, my Dad's name, his Dad's and one of my cousin's were all the same. At family gatherings if someone shouted "Alex!" half the room would turn round. Eventually we all had add-ons like 'wee', 'old', 'junior' etc. but we never had Re-Alex or even Re-re-Alex :).
I can only eat beef liver lightly battered and fried with brown gravy. Haven't had it in years. We use chicken livers boiled in herbs and ground up to the point of being super tiny in our cornbread dressing but that it for me. Thats my limit.
