In your 20s and can't make your own plate. Hmm
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@Nudistsue26 I'm not allowed to anymore because I was in the hospital for an eating disorder. I'm not trusted currently
Nudistsue26 · 31-35, F
@apersonnamedit ok. I see. Hope your doing better.
OogieBoogie · F
It's not the amount that worries me... It's the lack of nutrition and fibre there.😳
Where is the protein, where's the variety of vegetables?
Its all carbs.
Someone in your position should be having way nutrients than that provides.

@apersonnamedit well honestly... I'd be eating less of the pasta,, and more of the chicken.
Protien is better processed by your body.
It'll go to cell structure, muscles and organ maintinence.
Carbs are mostly for energy. Energy that ends up being stored if you don't use it.
I think it would do you good to Learn about what types foods do, how they interact and metabolise.
Learn to understand food and take control of its benefits , not fear it, and use it badly.
Like... Starches with proteins are tough on the digestion... They slow it down.
General rule for better digestion and synthesis of nutrient is :
Veggies + starch... or
Veggies + protein.
It was the best thing for me.
Food is powerful... It can even change the power of your thinking, immune system, and mood.
Food is full of enzymes, chemicals both good and bad.
And how you use it can affect you.
One nutritional imbalance or deficiency can mimic a disease... Like :vitamin B for example... Not enough will make you tired, slow thinking, breathlessness, numbness,, fatigue and poor memory, palor, dizziness, mood swings .. Even depression.
Use food FOR you, not against you😊
Being lean isn't a bad thing, when your nutrition levels are high.
You can still have good health, and be thin.
It's all about what you put into your body, not how much.

@OogieBoogie I'm vegetarian hence why I got the plain noodles. Sometimes my mom will make vegetable based food because I guess a lot of Asian food is veggie heavy however my dad complains and wants meat based food because he is a big meat guy. That's a chunk of the issue. I cook sometimes at home but cooked more on my own.
Most food around here if my dad complains is meat, potatoes and maybe a veggie. If too much Asian food gets made in a row my dad throws a fit. I do need to learn though the right ratio for me. Like protein and veggies like you said. I'm supposed to be meeting with a nutritionist soon so maybe they can help me.

I wish they wouldn't try to force it like that, but do your best honey. 💝 We want you alive, ok?
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@BlueVeins They mean well but they are doing too much.
BlueVeins · 26-30
@apersonnamedit I'm a fellow vegan like you, but I hope you know that people with eating disorders have a pass to eat meat, guilt-free.
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@BlueVeins I found a piece of chicken in my bowl. Kinda ruined my appetite
PiecingBabyFaceTogether · 31-35, M
I recently got asked to follow a diet to gain a few pounds before I go into surgery and I understand the struggle.. It's making me miserable all the time. That looks like half my dinner though. You have to at least try.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
unless that's a 2 ft plate bowl , it shouldn't be a problem

SW-User
Eat what you can and leave the rest. If they ask why you left some, explain. If they don't like it, tell them not to complain about their own waste that you've already advised against. You're at least 22 years old, I think you're past the point of being told how much you're allowed to eat.
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@SW-User It's because I'm out of the hospital from an eating disorder. I'm not trusted at the moment

SW-User
@apersonnamedit That's shit. I hope you learn to manage a healthy ability to eat.
With that being said, you are still in charge of your decisions, however unhealthy they may be.

I'm 100lbs and I could manage.
Viper · M
Are they trying to get you to eat more?
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@Viper Yeah they are trying to get my weight up to healthy amounts. The bowl is bigger than it looks.
Viper · M
@apersonnamedit Oh I know that's a big bowl! Just I'm big and can go back for thirds of I really wanted (probably stop at seconds)
Viper · M
@apersonnamedit If you're parents want to get your weight up, tell them to mix carbs and fats together! (Which they did with the Alfredo) but still there are probably ways you can eat less and gain more weight.

SW-User
i love fettuccine Alfredo, but i'm really sorry you're struggling. i hope you can recover well. *hugs*
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
No veggies? Lots of starch and carbs.
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@Jenny1234 Nope not today
Nanoose · 70-79, M
Needs bacon bits on the noodles. Cheers!
PhaqueYou · M
Good thing you don't have Celiac disease.
Where's the real food?
Where's the real food?
Londonn · 36-40, M
yes now eat them all b4 I swallow this plate as a whole looks yummy
BigBulge · 46-50, M
You're a big girl. Eat as much or as little as you want, and leave the left behind. Or, are you thin to the point of being unhealthy ?
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@BigBulge I'm very underweight
BigBulge · 46-50, M
Then it's obvious that your parents are worried about you. It's common for some young women who are troubled or depressed to starve themselves. If that sounds like you, I hope that you will talk to a medical professional. @apersonnamedit

DCarey · 51-55, M
Go get laid.
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@DCarey bowl is bigger than it looks
DCarey · 51-55, M
@apersonnamedit Forget the bowl. Just go.

SW-User
It doesn't even look appealing 😔
apersonnamedit · 26-30, T
@SW-User The bread is burnt on the bottom

SW-User
@apersonnamedit Well, I hope 'the bin' enjoys it😕
MethDozer · M
That's like a child's plate. How can you not eat all of that?
Lilnonames · F
That lil bit lol🤭
