Happy new year

Guess I am going to be a bit contrarian to the majority of folks around me and say 2024 wasn't too bad for me. I mean, it was far from a perfect year and some things happened that are probably going to lead to awful stuff for decades to come. But on a personal level I feel like I've seen a few milestones and turning points where things that have been bad for a while in my life are going to start turning around and improving. I am cautiously optimistic heading into the new year for once. Sure, it may all come crashing down, but I'm going to hope for better.
