No. Being a snob comes from the assumption and belief that a person/culture/society/whatever is inherently superior to others.

The belief that you are somehow better than most other people, combined with the willingness to show that belief by the way you treat people.

certainly not..you must stick to heiraerchy and follow your grandparents principals as laid out by them.That is not a snob but family traits
