Managed to smash my eyebrow area and split it pretty bad, but there’s been a few things that made it at least kinda funny.
Mainly my mom stealing a tall rolling chair as security watched laughing and then her trying to get on it. Though the guy giving us a strip tease across the hall gave that one some competition when my mom was afraid to fall getting off her chair and I was told to stay where I was lol.. Once the guy started laughing after we looked away, I swung the curtain as far as I could from where I was and the guy said kidding, “It’s okay. There’s really not much too see anyway!”
After that, my male nurse walked in on my mom saying how cute the lil guy is 🤣 He’s not even that little lol poor guy heard it all 😞
It actually is worse than it looks. I pushed it together for the pic 🤣 Also cause it was freaking me and everyone out 🤣
@SW-User That’s too funny. It reminds me of when I had a c-section and serious internal infection and they made me take Percocet in front of them cause they saw them in garbage. I managed to hide one in my mouth till they left. I passed out talking to my kids’ dad and was giggling and talking in my sleep while sitting straight up. He was kinda behind me so he didn’t know till I started answering his questions in my sleep too. All I remember is dreaming my mom made me laugh and when he said who are you talking to I said my mom and he shook me and woke me up. That was on only a 500 Percocet 🤣 See why I try not to take that? 🤣
Well, not so much funny as embarrassing, really. We have a 'collective' of children and every time my wife goes in to have a baby (we have 5 together of various ages) I have to bring the rest of them. When our 2nd eldest was around 7 or 8 she picked up the ward iPad (that they use to put in all the medical info) and just wander around the dept and took pictures with it!
10 minutes of trying to herd kittens for our visit and not realising she had wandered off....and, apparently, 10 minutes of the staff looking for their equipment.
10 minutes....37 (if I remember correctly!) very arty pictures of god-knows-what at arty angles!
Oh ouch!! Oh I hope that heels soon. The brow bone really kills. Reminds me when I ripped open top edge of my ear.
The only funny visit was after dental surgery. I insisted I was stable on anesthetic recovery, enough to walk to the elevators unassisted. Determined to reach the doors straight ahead, I separated from my escort and promptly veered left down the hall instead.😆
I'd also insisted walking 10 blocks home...that wasn't happening either
Get well soon...💐 Looks like a Cat scratched your eyebrow.😁 Not a hospital visit but I do have a hilarious experience to share: I was at a Thai Spiritual Wellness Centre. They offered Acupressure treatment as well. I took it for my lower back. I had recovered from Disc-Herniation but the after-effects of it are felt even after the recovery. Acupressure Treatment is painful but effective. There was an Old Man who had orthopedic issues and he also opted for the Acupressure treatment. I literally had to struggle controlling my laughter because he literally screamed at the top of his lungs. Like, he was in a torture cell. The stuff he was said while screaming was equivalent to:
I used to scream too but a little not like the old man!😁
It wasn't very humorous, but I got a staph infection in my arm when I played high school football. I went to the hospital and they put me on antibiotics and gave me a steroid shot before I left. Well the needle looked like it was almost as long as my arm, and the nurse told me to bend over because I had to get the shot in a butt cheek. I was like hold on I have to think about this first and mentally prepare. I was like you can't just spring stuff like this on people. My dad almost fell on the floor laughing.
When I had my appendix removed, a few days after surgery they gave me some enema and because I'd been bored most of the time, I disappeared for a walk like always. Little did I know of the effects of enemas, which made it easier for the nurse to get to find me, because from quite afar alot of people were shouted at by some weird guy screaming "WHERE'S THE NEXT TOILET!?!?" 🤣
Not really, but I can tell on myself a bit. I have a horrible reaction whenever I am given anesthesia. I wake up afterward and I am a horrifying witch toward the nurses, who usually do NOT want to give me any water or ice chips or ANYTHING because they know I will throw up.
I have told nurses that I am going to report them to the doctor or the administrative staff, and that I am going to have them fired!!! 🤣🤣🤣 (As if I could).
@4meAndyouYou know what? I woke up dying of thirst and feeling like I was gonna puke every single time. I remember begging them for water and my altoids 🤣 and them saying no and me trying to yell what’s wrong w/you, but my eyes going behind my head cause I’m over sensitive to the anesthesia.
@MellyMel22 I think that's my issue, too. I was told that it affects different people in different ways. My way just happens to be witch flying on her broomstick...🤣🤣🤣
@BizSuitStacyNot too bad. Doesn’t hurt as bad when I look up as it did before. The glue is finally softening, but it’s hard to tell. I’m gonna ask my Dr tomorrow. I think it looks worse w/the glue than it prob is.
@BizSuitStacyThanks.. it’s been 10 days I believe. They say w/in 6months it should heal well. I was very careful not to get it wet to hold the glue seal like they said. I feel it loosening though.
When I got hurt fighting with Loss Prevention for shoplifting.

I grew up in an extremely sex-negative home. When I was 15, I managed to go four months without masturbating and at the end of it walking was extremely painful and I had no idea why. I saw a urologist who never once asked if I was masturbating. I then went to a hospital to get ultrasound on my balls just for them to find nothing wrong. A few days later, I finally ended my streak and the pain disappeared.
@LilymoonThey just finished doing a glue stitch kinda thing, the dr said it’s better all around. It would’ve been hell to do regular stitches b/c I’m resistant to numbing agents.
@iamonfire696I’m sorry.. wacky stuff seems to follow me. A nurse tried to stop me leaving after my nurse let me out(doors are locked). I let him have it as he went to grab me. He thought I was leaving w/out being signed out and there were a couple of prisoners there- I must’ve stole someone’s dress 🙄 it was so ridiculous. I had discharge papers in my hand. I said wth is wrong with you? Then security came and told him she’d handle it and then she was talking to me about random stuff 🤣
