Have you ever had any clothing stolen from home

Yes. A long time ago I was living in an apartment in Boston with 4 room mates...and every once in a while a young man who was a friend of theirs would escape from the mental hospital where he was undergoing drug rehab. The second time he escaped, he brought a female friend, and she stole quite a few of my clothes.

@antonioioio No, I never got them back.

@DrWatson So right! Man proposes, God disposes...in His own time and when it benefits everyone most!

Not from home, but years ago, my car was broken into, and they stole my radio and a really nice sweater that I had in the car.

@AbbeyRhode I once bought a pair of Versace sunglasses, parked my car in a paid parking lot, locked my car, but my sunglasses "disappeared".
Someone stole underwear from the clothes line, I'm sure it was some poor unfortunate underwear deprived individual. 🤣

One of my jackets had been missing for years....every once in a while it would occur to me "didn't I have a brown leather jacket, and what happened to it?" Couldn't remember if I'd loaned it to someone or what... Well, this year, as I was clearing out stuff from my deceased parents' house, I found not only my old brown leather jacket from 20 years ago, but also a quilted one that I'd totally forgotten. They still fit perfectly. 😄

@SW-User WOW! You struck a major find. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

@Musicman The necklace isn't valuable, except as a sentimental object. My great aunt was the only person who ever spoke to me in Dad's family, so I wouldn't want to forget her. It was a relief to find that necklace again.

@SW-User The sentimental ones can be the most valuable to the heart. 🤗💝💝💝

My daughter 'borrows' shoes and any other items of clothing that fit her 🙄

@SunshineGirl You are a good mom. 🤗

My ex sister in-law would borrow things and not return them. That's stealing to me.

Only from the apartment’s laundromat

No, but I found a wife-beater in my drawer once. I don’t wear wife-beaters! 🤔🤔

Not from home.

Went away for 3 weeks shooting at Louth New South Wales to help a friend with feral pigs.

Stayed in abandoned shearers house ( 7 bedroom )

6th day did washing in old copper tub, cloths on line

In morning all clothes gone

3 days later in local pub I see my T shirt & pants on an aboriginal guy walking past

Actually I have. As many people here know my wife and I have a motorhome. One time when we came back from a trip there was no signs of forced entry, but my underwear, not my wife's, but mine, was gone along with some of our washcloths.

@SW-User They got into the house while we were away. ☹️ Didn't take anything except my underwear and face clothes.

@Musicman Oh, sorry... I said RV and meant house. That's scary that they broke into the house. 🥺 I still think it sounds like a homeless person.

There's some odd damage to the back of my parents' house I noticed recently -- and it's underneath the deck. Will have to check it out in broad daylight this weekend, and am a bit leery since I found a notice in their mailbox regarding a missing man and it said in capital letters CHECK YOUR SECURITY CAMERAS. Parents didn't have a security cam... so I'm left wondering.

@SW-User I hope it all works out for you.
