One of my jackets had been missing for years....every once in a while it would occur to me "didn't I have a brown leather jacket, and what happened to it?" Couldn't remember if I'd loaned it to someone or what... Well, this year, as I was clearing out stuff from my deceased parents' house, I found not only my old brown leather jacket from 20 years ago, but also a quilted one that I'd totally forgotten. They still fit perfectly. 😄

@Musicman Yes, it is. I also discovered several other items of my clothing, plus jewelry and other assorted items that had been missing for years. I was especially happy to find a necklace that had belonged to my 2nd cousin who died at the age of 5 and was given to me by her mom (my great aunt) when I was 12. I'd been worried about what happened to that one.

@Musicman The necklace isn't valuable, except as a sentimental object. My great aunt was the only person who ever spoke to me in Dad's family, so I wouldn't want to forget her. It was a relief to find that necklace again.
