I have a cluster of tattoos on my left shoulder, done by two different artists at different times/places. I got them many, many years ago. and had them recolored using bamboo needles when I lived in Asia. Do I regret getting them? Sometimes.... mostly when I think about the fact that I am giving free advertising to a major American motorcycle brand...... a sport I no longer participate in.
My advice, based on my own experiences...... If you are going to get one, get it done in a location that doesn't show. (I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been in a bank or other financial institution and seen a guy/gal dressed in long sleeves during the heat of the summer..... in an attempt to hide the "full sleeve" tattoos).
I have one tattoo. That tattoo was initially meant to be part of a couple tattoo. My husband and I got one each after a year of being together. We're now divorced. Do I reget it? No. 1.) It's of something that I like. 2.) It's a part of who I was at the time that we got them.
I went to get one, but didn't after seeing the mess the tattoo artist made of two buddies. After I sobered up the urge left me. There have been times I regretted not getting that tattoo.
My father had a wartime eagle on his upper arm with a banner between the talons saying US Navy. I wanted the same with US Army on the banner.
I don't have any I regret per say but the one I got at 15 isn't fantastic by any means. But it helped me through a really dark time in my life. Seeing it always makes me happy & reminds me I somehow got through all that crap and I'll show off my mediocre tattoo proudly! 💀😂 It's an illness ribbon type tattoo for those who are curious.
I have no tattoos. However, if I recover from my heart surgery with a mechanical heart valve that works well, I’m planning to get some sort of bionic tattoo to commemorate it. I’ll have no regrets if it unfolds that way.
I only have a few but don’t regret them. Avoided getting names and words though. Those are mostly what I see on people that have regrets about their ink. Get your kids names inked on you, never your spouse lol.
No, I don’t. I have four and each represents something special in my life. I plan to get one more. All of them can be hidden by clothing—also by design. No one else sees them except by my choice.
Don’t have one and haven’t really known what to get. Some days I think it would be cool, but others I’m just not into it. They look good on others though.
