@Boleuskas Beautiful.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@Boleuskas I live in a part of Canada sometimes called "New Iceland" and we actually have the largest population of Icelanders outside Europe so I see alot of tattoos like this. Thinking of getting some runs myself. Unfortunately do to some very questionable reporting on the far right in the US over the last few years people have been getting more dirty looks over it.

This one keeps coming full circle and to echo an answer to the question my first response is:
Why? Why do you want one?
Because I'll tell you. Once you've inked, it's permanent. I have watched people who I know, and those I know less, and I cannot tell you how many times I've either seen a very poor ink artist or.....you can tell that, that walking canvas was not so much invested in the ink as they were in looking cool or trendy.
Ink IS a personal choice, an art form. Ink should be a personal statement, a history of who you are. Mine are of my military service and who I once was...and when I step out of the shower and towel off, they are there to remind me of the company of young lions in the service to my nation that I was once part of.....that is so wholly important to me, as someone from a Gold Star family. It speaks to sacrifice of that personal self, but also by extension to the ultimate personal sacrifice of family.
So, sit down and decide that "why." And, if you have made that decision to roll ahead, then for heaven's sake, research your ink doctor and go look at their work. Make it about you....who you are, when someone reads your ink.
Funny short story.... I'd spent many, many years on the coast working along the beach and, one day, a 20-something kid came tenuously in to the parking lot where I was parking beach goers and....he had a question. He said to me....."my wife saw your tats from the bathroom window where we're staying (which overlooked the lot) and she loved your ink".
She called him over, he saw my ink and, he decided to come over and ask.
The bizarre part was that, my artist and he had been mates back in their day,
Phunny how the worm turns.......
Concluding, understand the "why" first. The design second, and thirdly, what you want to convey. Your body really is a walking canvas. Once is layed, it's played.
Cheers

I have 2, but I’d like a lot more.
JustAmber · 36-40, F
Yes, 3 exbf initials, a 9, and lux. Lux on my back, intials and 9 on my hips.
SW-User
@JustAmber is it wrong for me to want to see all of them? 🥴
Just one, a small red heart ❤️on my nape as a symbol of our love.
Morrigan · F
I have them down my arms, my thighs and my back. They are all things that have meaning to me in some way.
And I am older with no regrets, they tell a story, my life has been messy and complicated

Ducky · 31-35, F
I have several. A butterfly on my stomach, a tiger head on my left arm, a heart on my right arm, the word “breathe” on my foot, etc.
HollyW · 18-21, F
None. I feel that unblemished skin is more attractive to more people. There are better ways to stand out.
btchstfu · F
i dont but i like seeing them on other ppl
**Chuckles** Trust me... no one wants to talk tattoos and psychology of them with me.
Most vanilla people don't understand my need to do what I want to do - and I don't fully understand where it came from... just another fucked up aspect of a fucked up childhood I suppose.

Beardedguy · 31-35, M
On my arms (upper) wanting to finish with a 3/4 sleeve. And have one round my ankle
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
I have a few I want to get. Probably start with a Marseille style Death Card from the Tarot.
SW-User
I don't have one.
I once went to a tatoo parlor to get one and the owner told me to find my reason/pupose to have something permanent on my body.
I couldn't answer so he denied services and sent me out.
It's been years I still couldn't find my reason.
I had fake tattoos that lasted for a week, it was fun.
You can try them and see how you feel about it.

Don't do it. I've said it before, a beautiful girl getting a tattoo is like spray painting a beautiful work of art with graffiti. You will regret it for the rest of your life.

no

Indecision on what I really want is what has kept me from getting one. I’d like to be 100% sure. 🤷🏻♂️
