No but appearance can make a difference to how people judge you
jennyCook · 22-25, F
Depending where and how many would bring this into question
Meh sometimes, also depends on the job and people can judge others 🤷🏼‍♀️

No, I mean unless their brain is pierced (which I don't think they do).
CestManan · 46-50, F
If it's excessive it might look weird but I do not believe it interferes with their ability to do the job.
Once you get to know someone, what they look like doesn't really matter anyways.
Ducky · 31-35, F
Of course not. It's more of how they're perceived by other people who may deem it unprofessional to have piercings. I would argue that one judging a co-worker who's doing an apt performance at their job just because they might have an "unprofessional" piercing is actually pretty close-minded and unprofessional within itself. But that's just the world we live in.

No, I don’t think so. At , I only have a daith piercing .
I am going to add another this summer.

I work in a very conservative profession. I am pretty certain that my appearance would not be accepted by all areas of the US.

I am good at what I do, my appearance has no impact on my ability to do my job .
Strongtea · 22-25, M
Yes, I think so.
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
Not sure, but if I see 7 earrings in one ear, I'm wondering what statement they're making.
SW-User
@Disgustedman ask them.

Subjective. I don't think so but I'm sure others would.
It shows a personal style above business image.
Objectively no, but judgements vary
Wol62 · 51-55, M
Yeah, puts me right off people who have them.
Professionals use their skills and head at work; Not their piercings.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@SW-User my favorite
Fullmetal · 46-50, M
@Donotfolowme there's nothing wrong with that! It looks fine!
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@Fullmetal They are my favorite I love them
Depends on how many piercings and where. It obviously doesn’t stop someone from being professional and doing their job well. In companies where the employee isn’t interacting with customers, there’s not even the problem of perceived unprofessionalism.
No peiercings for me! I used to want in my ears but im glad i never did. I like women with piercings. I dont have myself.
Applepiedom · 61-69, M
It depends on the piercing. I hate nose studs. Rings slightly better cause i can drag you any where if you piss me off
