My boyfriend's cardigan crochet fix

My boyfriend passed away in May this year. He had a favourite cardigan but it was unraveling on the sleeves. I couldn't bare to part with it so my friend said that I should fix it with crochet. Here are some pictures of some of the damage and the end results. I fixed both sides.
Beautiful work and such a fantastic idea. 🙂

I have a friend who makes bears and pillows out of the shirts of loved ones who’ve passed away. I know others who make patchwork quilts out of various pieces of their clothing.

All these things can be of great comfort.

Very nice job! Funny how it is always the small things we cling to when a loved one dies. I hope this gives you some extra solace in the bad days!
