There's no autopsy unless foul play is suspected, or if you've donated your body to science or you're an organ donor, or if your family requests one or to determine cause of death. But if it's obvious, like if you died in a car wreck or were hit by a bus, or had a heart attack or something totally obvious, there will be no autopsy. However, if I had to watch my own autopsy, who knows, the gnarliness of it might shock me back alive. LOL

Sounds disgusting and fascinating at the same time. I can't deny I'm curious. The advantage is that you no longer have stomach to turn and can't get sick and throw up.

Id do it.

I once slashed my knee open on a bookcase corner when i was 11, and i was fascinated at how deep the wound went.
I pried it open so I could see little fat globules in my hypodermis, the muscle tissues and right down to the white of my bone.

The only thing i don't like is lots of blood.

But id be dead, so it'd just be guts and bone and stuff.

I'm certain I won't, and I've requested to not have one unless there's foul play

Just continuing on after death would be a shock to people who commit suicide. What do you do then? Bullets, ropes, poison, all useless to a ghost no matter how hard he might try.
