Should old dudes comment when we can unintentionally see naughty gurl parts?

The 22 yo girl who has worked for me for 5 years came into work this morning wearing summer gear. It's in the 70's for the first time this year, and from my office seat I can see that she doesn't like underwear. Say... or nay?

I told her.
She is now wearing a sweatshirt that hangs past the goodies. Thanks for chiming in.

Did you tell her that her coochie is showing ?
THEBIGM · 56-60, M
@juiceyangel333: No, just handed her an oversized hoodie and explained that her short shorts were too short
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
@THEBIGM: oh haha

dont be a perv but you can either just forget about it unless she does it again then say something to her privately about the matter but dont say anything sexual or derogatory will end up getting sexual harassment.

@Selah: it's the awkward that makes it awkward... she really is like a daughter to me

And yet, you KNOW that if you go to work with your package on display, there will not be a quiet, polite word, to let you know it's inappropriate. You will get a notice from HR that what you're doing is a sexual violation of company rules. You exposing yourself is a crime. Her doing it is either a source of amusement or a minor indiscretion to be handled gently and discretely. Let's not embarrass her.

@Selah: lol

Skirt? Or pants? Just how much is she exposing in the workplace?

I mean, if a man came to work with his personal bits exposed for viewing he'd be charged with indecent exposure.

@Quizzical: seems so. Still, in a workplace, there should be a single standard. Equal pay for equal work, and the same dress code for all. Either everyone comes with their genitals covered or everyone comes with them on public display.

@Serenitree: It's a difficult subject to broach in this situation though, lol. I'd just keep quiet about it and try not to be too distracted :)
Serenitree · F
@Quizzical: I won't disagree because I've never been a man, and I've never been attracted to women, so I'll have to take your word.

I hate double standards though.

Why are you looking at her vagina when her face is on her neck?
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@juiceyangel333: It probably was... They do tend to be, lol :p

It was really quite erotic actually
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
@Quizzical: what a turn on! Did you flash her your cock at some point ?
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@juiceyangel333: Heavens no! Out there in the real world I am nothing if not a perfect gentleman (which is why I hardly ever get laid, lol) it's just on here that I am perversity personified :p
Probably best not to say anything.

Get another woman in the office to mention it to her. If you are the only 2 people there, we are clear that display was for you. In that case just tell her she needs to wear panties to work. It's the way to be!
👍🏻
THEBIGM · 56-60, M
Trust me, that display is not for me... LOL
It is however almost impossible to avoid so I have to have somebody let her know
SW-User
@THEBIGM: I find it interesting that it's been pointed out you could be accused of sexual harassment if you mention or mishandle this in any way, but no one considers this sexual harassment on HER part! You just said it's unavoidable and you can't work. Hmmmm.
NCCindy · 36-40, F
If it was me, I'd appreciate if you told me ... PRIVATELY !!!

And if you're the boss, and your company supports it, you might discuss suitable office dress with her too. It never ceases to amaze me what some women wear to work.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
You could do the gentlemanly thing and have a quiet word with her... Or sit back and enjoy the view! :D
TheArchitect · 36-40, M
If you say something she's gonna know you been looking which easily turns in to sexual harassment
Raffie · 61-69, F
Is she sitting in the sunlight so you can see that she is bare or is her dress so short that she is exposed...either way inappropriate dress. Have an older woman speak to her in private.
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
You may want to keep that to yourself...or let human resources know it's an issue.
THEBIGM · 56-60, M
My store, I am HR... I think I'll have my daughter come in and let her know
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
@THEBIGM: That sounds like the better option
SW-User
Looking is free.
THEBIGM · 56-60, M
not really
SW-User
@THEBIGM: When's the last time you paid? I think you're being difficult.
SW-User
Looking might not be free if he gets accused of looking.
louisesoulstar · 26-30, F
Depends on the person and how well you two get along. If a Boss or coworker mentioned it quietly and in private I would not be offended
Depends how well you know each other and what you plan to say. If the clothing is too revealing, that might be a careful conversation to have. If it's a comment of admiration, that might be better left unexpressed. 😇
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I had this situation blow up in my face once. This girl seems on the level, but there are some women out there who are not and know how to use the system to their advantage.
juiceyangel333 · 31-35, F
How did it blow up and why were you staring ?
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
You are truly entering strange waters, HR-wise. Be careful. Or, just enjoy the show lol.
THEBIGM · 56-60, M
She's like my daughter but yeah, the HR implications are scary
