At work , all 200 plus people wear the same project branded PPE...

🤷‍♂

How do you feel ?

No one cares.
We just do the work and not worry about fashion.

I love matching. I’m always trying to get people to wear matching clothes with me.
@itsok would @CaptainBard fit into them?
itsok · 31-35, F

Ima chest bump them for having fabulous taste
That's super rare, but I'd smile and think it was pretty cool. Especially if they style the look up well

I remember when I was like 13 at the bowling alley another kid had the same Star Wars shirt as me
I went “Hey nice shirt”
katydidnt · 61-69, F
I'd yell "Hey, I'm skinny-dipping here! Give 'em back! "

I would be happy because atleast someone else has my same taste
Reassured. At least one person agrees with my wardrobe choices.
This jogged a memory. Years ago I rented a finished basement from the owner. Along the way, my landlady and I became friends. My husband-to-be was visiting me in Philadelphia from Pittsburgh - the first time we’d met after a year of emails and phone calls. We invited my landlady friend to have dinner with us at the restaurant of her choice. She accepted.

She said, “I bought you something. Will you wear it tonight?” I agreed. The something was a silk shirt, Long-sleeved and the green of spring leaves. It also was studded with rhinestones and portraits of dogs, six of them on the front of the shirt. Not precisely my style, but it cost nothing to please her.

She said the restaurant was very busy and there would be a line. Could we go ahead and when we got a table, call her? Of course.

When she arrived, she was wearing my shirt, except hers was pink. With cats. A bit awkward, but blessedly I had no social status at risk. Equally blessedly, my man was civilized enough to not laugh. He just twinkled at me and we proceeded with dinner.

Later, when she went to the restroom, he did laugh. Me too.

I said to him, “What are you laughing about? Everybody here thinks we’re gay and you’re our beard. Not that I care.”

He told me later that was the moment he knew he would marry me if I’d have him.

It would make me feel cheap. I don't spend much on clothes.

Eyy cool shirt
Sapio · 51-55, M
Highly unlikely that I'd run into someone wearing the same clothes as me.
craig7 · 70-79, M
That has only happened a couple of times, and when I was much younger,on busy city streets. The first time, the guy pointed in my direction and said "A-ha!" in a joking way,on the second occasion we both just smiled as we passed each other.

Makes me laugh, at work, everyone wears the same clothes as me, same PPE hardhat and all.
Bri89 · 36-40, M
I guess that they have the same style as I do.

Id probably think...wow who dressed that guy..
attyhenrytuason · 61-69, M
I'd close my ears, squint my eyes and tell the guy he's clothes are too loud!🤔
Pfuzylogic · M
I’m good with it. A high school student in my 90s electronics class wore a matching shirt and never wore it again!
I've worked in places where you wore uniform... it's normal to me...
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
How do you feel when you see someone wearing the same clothes as you?

It might mean that we are on the same sports team or in the same military branch or police/fire department. Or maybe I'm looking in the mirror.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Wooow, another weirdo who wears 10+ year old clothes.
wackidywack · 26-30
I feel like burning my clothes

lonelyloner · 31-35, F
nothing special honestly but if possible try to know from where she brought that one
I never do, somehow. 😅
This does never happen to me. I doubt it ever will.
Dang, why does our company make us wear uniforms! They're so fascist!

PS: Joke, my company doesn't do that, and even if they did, in my job, I don't interact with the public
Mudkip · 31-35, M
Eh, I don't care 😂

When I was around 13 my mom bought me a $10 blue suit with big white buttons. I hated it but wore it to church that sunday anyway. I was sitting in a pew with a friend feeling awkward when a 4 year old boy in the pew directly in front of us stood up on the pew and turned around at us, wearing the same exact goofy blue suit, big white buttons and all. I got up and left. Never wore it again

Not likely! 🤣
Elessar · 31-35, M
You're under the assumption I'm even aware of what I'm wearing and that I haven't forgot about it altogether circa 30 seconds after picking it out of the wardrobe
GuyWithOpinions · 31-35, M
Surprised. Then move on. Probably wouldnt even mention it.
