Most of mine are crew neck, with a range of thickness and materials: cotton, merino wool, lambswool, through to chunky cable knit.
A special treat is cashmere, worn next to the skin - the effect on the nipples is evident.

Cashmere is less expensive when bought from the factory shop, rather than in the West End of London.
There are several manufacturers in Scotland.
I have bought from "Johnstons of Elgin" by mail order.
A favourite was a tiny strappy camisole (vest-style) top in black cashmere, perfect under a jacket, with the effect already mentioned !

@HumanEarth Thanks, I had guilt from my first reply and had to come clean to you today. LOL
I tend to layer up at work with long sleeved ts and cardigans. I have a few that are huuuuge and chunky that I wear in the car instead of a jacket

I don't wear sweaters anymore; I mostly wear hoodies. If I need something lighter, I rock a couple of hooded Henleys.

Full-zip thick black one and I only wear it when it's below 6°C.
