Thanks all, good advice and even though the top mostly got the thumbs up I went with something else. Black top and skirt and I was glad of the extra room, the boy can cook 😅

Almost everything a woman can wear (except a burka or a death shroud) can be of course construed as suggestive by some people. But usually the woman isn't dressing for disapproval by puritanical prudes, rather to feel good about herself and to be seen and feel comfortable in whatever she's chosen.
Females are not Males! So there's obvious differences that are generally always noticeable by others. Accentuating those differences, or not, is her choice and gratefully, politely noticing and appreciating should be the response
Not too sexy, but certainly welcoming. We should be able to show what we want without it necessarily meeting any particular action. I hope the date goes well
@KneAuxBody I was going to argue with you here (there's nothing wrong with what shw's wearing - you can have an opinion on it for sure, but she doesn't need to be told to 'cover up'). Then I saw you commented this before already:
