I always see adverts for Vanish an how it's amazing at stain removal.
No clue if it works though, I never used it.

I suppose it depends on the kind of stain and also what kind of dye was used on the silk. If it's a good colour fast dye then I imagine that the common stain removers like Vanish would work. Whatever you try find a part of the garment that isn't too obvious to try it out on first.

Just some mild soap and water, might add some white vinegar or lemon squeezie juicy too.
