Apparently I have to say this but not every headscarf is a hijab.

I wear headscarves in the winter to keep my ears and neck warm. I'm not a Muslim. I'm so sick of terrorist jokes or questions about Shariah Law because I don't wanna be cold.

My grandmother was a devout Catholic and did not go out into public without a headscarf. She didn't cover her face, but did her hair.

@chrisCA and I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying that more than just Muslims do it. It's more rare to see Catholics following it these days, but there was a time.

@ViciDraco Oh I agree with you, I was raised Catholic, but no one would have screamed hate at your grandmother, and tried to rip off her head covering.
