She could certainly lead the United States as well as anyone. "Ruling" sounds likes a monarchy or dictatorship—supposedly that’s not what we’re about.

Now whether Americans can let go of the endemic racism and sexism that has been a big part of what this country’s about…that’s a different question. According to this last election, no, not yet. 😞

@bijouxbroussard I hate to say this, I do think America has dealt with a lot of endemic racist/misogynist isses, yet somehow Trump won as he made anger a battalion. There's going to be endemic and misogynist attitudes that live, and I would not be surprised they made up how really razor-thin this election was. If even two percent hadn't maybe had those ideas, where may have this gone?

It's complicated, Trump really knew how to drum up the anger this time, I think also speaks towards there is still misogyny and racism in the US, but there was something that let him...

That's the part that needs be searched upon
@SW-User It simply went underground, unfortunately. But it never really left. Trump has encouraged the worst of us to return to the surface.

@bijouxbroussard There is also a world wide right wing fascist movement going on. Don't underestimate this part. What does mirror is the fascists love finding those they can sway into a public movement. Which of course comes out against minorities :( Even if that made a small imparting of difference, one to two percent can mean a lot.

@SubstantialKick Yes. It’s really sad. At least it was a small percentage compared to other groups.
@SW-User Trust me, I’m not underestimating any of it. But if you know our history, you know this is not new for us. The eugenics movement began here. And there were plenty of American Nazis before, during and after WWII.
