People didn’t want more inflation and higher gas and food prices

We have to remember that with Kamala currently working as VP to the President, it wouldn't be in her best interest to ruffle Joe's feathers before his term ended. But like you say, taking that cautious approach to keep her boss happy in the meantime is what cost her the election.

I was very surprised that she agreed to even run for POTUS at all, considering how she was expect to agree with the maddening crowd who wanted to usher Joe out the door instead of him going for another term as President.

The real problem with Kamala is that she tried to have it both ways and she failed at both ways and now she looks like an idiot. She lost the election and now Joe can't stand the sight of her hanging around the White House and still working for him, the very guy she threw under the bus!
