Who is the most famous person you've met?

For me it was either King Charles (Prince then) or President Jimmy Carter (retired). What about you and what was it like?

Maya Angelou. After she spoke at a college where a friend taught, we went to get her autograph and she invited us to eat with her. She was a great conversationalist, had a wonderful sense of humor. ☺️

@SW-User I’m not sure. I respected much of what he had to say, but he also had some ideas about women that were rather old-fashioned. Perhaps if he’d lived longer those beliefs might’ve evolved.
