@DIABLISS Why? Do you think they’ll be grateful, or remember you? And what message will you send? Should people expect you to pick them up, regardless of the life decisions they make?

@DazzaTheHutt oh, my god! what kind of crazy nonsense is that? I don't expect people to be grateful if i help them. I do expect them to start living their lives and be kind to others and be nice to their families and neighbors and act like human beings if i give them a second chance at life. ONLY YOU AND DISGUSTING PEOPLE LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT A PERSON TO KISS YOUR FEET IF YOU HELP THEM!

And the message i would be sending is that we are here to help each other not screw each other over. And you are one of those people that believes a person is homeless because of drugs and alcohol. What about all the women whose husbands die or disappear and leave them with a house full of kids and no income. ???

What about the runaways whose families were beating and raping them so they run away and end up on the street?

There is a huge percentage of these people on the street who didn't ask for it?

What about the ex-military that went thru too much and couldn't face reality afterwards or couldn't afford to live in society anymore.???

@DIABLISS Calm yourself. I’m not saying all homeless people would react this way. But through my experience of years of having to work with these people there is a sizeable demographic of homeless people who seem to expect hand outs and second chances without ever changing their self destructive behaviour. There are some people in this position who are there through their own choices. Do you intend to vet these people and dump them on the streets, or will you fight their battles for them throughout their lives? How will you differentiate between the two?

@DazzaTheHutt this is why i would pick groups of people at a time. while one group is settling into their new environment, i would start working on the next
