For those with VIP. What is your criteria and tolerance of Alt/Burner/Troll accounts when they hit your profile?

And what do you do about it?

I had VIP twice. First time was to see what the fuss was all about and found out that others with VIP can hide their presence from others. One cancelled out the other. lol How great is that?
Second time I had VIP was to close out all my topics...when I thought I'd be sticking around. I hardly ever looked to see who was doing what and didn't care.
Now... I'm deleting my account. Best way I know of to gain some balance and not become overly worried or paranoid about others here.
As far as I can tell... the social is becoming quite antisocial. lol

I’ve been here since the first week of SW, like many former EPers. I could have become VIP long ago, but choose not to. I don’t see the point in paying just so I can stand in the shadows and keep my eye on other members visiting my profile. I think keeping up with this can make you paranoid. I’m sure there are other features, but none I would find useful. Maybe some extra emojis, but I can live without them. @SW-User

I also understand this, and I’m not specifically speaking of you,@TexChik. Just my observations of the seemingly moral superiority of many VIPs, who do seem to be judging other members for looking at their profiles, or profiles that don’t have much, and then blocking them. I understand it’s their choice, and they have every right to do as they see fit, but it seems to me, some have lost sight of what profiles are for.

You VIPs are like the Global Elites. 🙄 No offense, but after reading the comments, it’s like you are in a different class from the rest of us plebs who don’t care who looks at our profile.

@Carissimi unfortunately so many have created alt to maliciously continue to follow you even after being blocked . Low views , posts about sex and nudity , no gifts or very few…: that is what I block .

@Carissimi My comment was a joke related to your comment on VIP's being Global Elites and you being a servant. Apparently, replying to your joke with one of my own is frowned upon. And "you can fix your own" speaks volumes.

I almost never look at who visited my profile, I just don't pay attention. This just reminded me to, lol. Who cares? I mean what can anyone really do, they can't crawl through the screen and hurt us. 🤷‍♂️

I just blocked an account that's been checking my profile on a regular basis.
No stories, posts and a hidden friends list.
I don't know what that's about but i had enough of them.

Enough of them? What did they do? Check your profile? Maybe they enjoy reading rather than writing. It’s your choice, of course, but it all sounds so judgmental of others. When people “follow” me, if I don’t “friend” them, I still allow them to follow. I know nothing about their lives. Who knows what help it may give them to read something I write, so unless it’s something egregious about them, they can follow me. This VIP thing is making some feel morally superior. @Onestarlitnight

It depends on who it is. If an attractive lady, I might send a PM. Conversely, if it is some guy who is wearing underwear in his profile picture, I am thankful I have a BLOCK button.

@TexChik That reminds me of a movie I took a date too, once. Our first date. I had no idea what the movie was about. A guy picks up what he thought was a woman, but discovers his date is actually a man. At that point, I looked at her and said "Let's go." I cannot remember the name of the movie. it was around the mid-1990's.

Ignore them for the most part. If I know (or strongly suspect) whose alts they are I’ll block and if they creep me out I block.

Oh I just BLOCK and they can make many as they please I just keep BLOCKING away 🤭 one guy finally got tired after 15 accounts haha. Ain't seen him in a while
