For those who have had pregnancies in their lives

For the guys - did your pregnant partner 'celebrate you' as being part of the pregnancy journey, or were you disregarded and treated as an afterthought?

For the girls - how did you make your pregnancies inclusive of your man so he felt and knew he was still loved, valued and an integral part of your shared parenthood journey or did you make it all about you?

We had two pregnancies, and my wife made sure I was taken care of emotionally both times. The first one was after we had been married only a couple of years, so we were almost newly-weds. The second was six years later, but that time I was included in all the prep for delivery, taking a course with her, in the delivery room, and so forth.
