How hard is it to breastfeed?

Is it hard to learn to breastfeed if you have never done it before? Will the baby know what to do or how to do it?

It is very natural for your baby to want to breastfeed. They look for your breasts when they are born and being held to your chest. You should be ready to breastfeed and with your baby feeding often, you will start to produce a lot of milk. They should be breastfeeding every 2–3 hours as newborns. My supply of milk comes very quickly as they are feeding very regularly.

It does make you hungry, and you have to eat more when you breastfeed.
i get a sore neck when i try milking myself...
You'll usually be afforded the opportunity to meet with a "lactation specialist" just before or after the baby is born.

It was easy for my wife. No problems at all. Baby knows what to do, your body knows what to do. But of course there are exceptions so if it doesn't work for you just ask for help.

A full term baby would need little guidance while a pre term would need full training.
