Experienced Mom tips please - My son who is 10 months old doesn't let me get up and do anything all he wants is I play with him or put him to sleep..

He cries a lot and follow me everywhere, showing aggression. How do I do the housechores like this?

I used to be a nanny and I started watching the lil one at 8 months old. He was super fidgety when eating so the parents put on a Baby Bum show (where baby shark originated years ago!) on the iPad. It calmed him every time and he'd be mesmerized with the kids songs and colors etc.and he'd eat too.
Maybe you can place him in a baby chair and try to put on a Baby Bum video ....I think the soothing songs are very helpful, plus educational!!

@Donotfolowme yeah, I only have one and he's 18 months old in a few days. Happy to answer anything about what I'm learning along the way. I love talking about it. Congrats on your babe. 😊

Babies depend on us for survival and are wired to be that way. I often only got things done when he slept, and still now that he's 1.5, it's still he constantly wants my attention. It's just part of it I think.

@Donotfolowme does he take two naps? I think this around 12 months where babies switch from 2 to 1 nap during the day.

@Notsimilarreally yea two short naps.. I can barely finish one chore
He was fine playing with his toys and crawling around, from last few days he is just clingy

@Donotfolowme well it's totally normal

Can you put him in a bouncy chair and bring him room to room with you? I always just left my chores until my kids were napping.

@Jenny1234 Yea haha he jumped once (he was well buckled up) and from then on, I don't even try.
All he wants is I hold him or I play with him.

@Donotfolowme my first baby was like that. Couldn’t entertain herself.
