Wow!!! That was quite a rude and condescending letter. At least your children are getting a trust fund so they can use in the distant future. I can see why you blocked all communication with her.

@Cigarguy That and the fact she wants to see your kids without asking your permission. Talk about being pushy.

@Barefooter25 that will never happen!
Ouch. That's very cruel . I'm so sorry to read that. It breaks my heart that people can't put aside differences for the sake of the children. She's in a tough spot too I guess. Glad she set aside money for your children though. Hmmm

Mother.
Thank you for the update.
I'm sure you'll be delighted to learn, I've done exactly the same in your direction

My wonder is, will there be an addendum attached re I will provide further information regarding a potential visit, including the expectations for their appearance,
I certainly hope not.

@4meAndyou was it too much? Yeah my kids keep telling me, I need to dial it down sometimes, but they say it like " No shade, Dad. But you're doing to much!" Then I'm like. "I'm in my feels, you know? and their like "just stop!" I'm like "what?" Both in unison "EVERYTHING!!"

It's sad that some people are that way. At least your kids will get something out of it.
