seeing my mother high on medicinal marijuana today was one of the best things i have ever seen

For the first time today in the longest time, I actually seen my mother laughing and pain free.
She has had a incredibly hard life and it has worn her down for sure and is in chronic pain, depression and a whole bunch of other things.
Seeing her try prescribed medicinal marijuana and it taking a lot of that away was pretty crazy.
makes you really wonder why the government fought tooth and nail to make it illegal (obviously money) when it can help people so much

It needs to be decriminalised and made as safe as can be. I had an ex who's Dad used to have it in every way possible and it made him paranoid - over ten locks and chains on the door because he constantly thought people would break in (but it was a nice area) if it could be cleaned up, any risky side effects removed as much as possible and vulnerable people protected. I would be in support - especially for those in chronic pain.

@Carla I’m really easy-going everybody got a right to voice their opinion me the only time I ever get pissed off on here is when I see a bully so you’re all good

I appreciate that, @Funlov.

Money, race, and power -- the stuff was historically associated with Mexican immigrants and hippies. Banning drugs was a good excuse to arrest brown people and political dissidents.

Glad your mother is feeling ok, can't imagine how that must feel. ❤️

Thankfully I live in a state where it's legal even recreationally, because I have the same problems as your mother (chronic pain from a chronic illness, plus depression).

It has helped with my depression, pain, and anxiety too. I hate that some people are denied this amazing medicine because of their backwards state laws. If I was in my home state (Tennessee), I would not be able to use it.

@DearAmbellina2113 Which States is it legal in?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Patientlywaiting Arizona, Oregon, Maine, Virginia, and probably a few others by now.

@DearAmbellina2113 @Patientlywaiting They've been taking applications for medical dispensary license in Alabama so I guess MM will be legal here sometime in the next decade or two. I guess there's hope for the rest of the world now.

I hope she can find much freedom from pain and the anxiety/depression that goes with it.

@LadyBronte thank you

I need that. Pain has my old ass cornered today. These new "miracle drugs" (Ibuprofen and Tylenol) is bullshit.
Glad your mother found a way to relieve her pain.

Mary Jane is a godsend. I'm happy she wasn't in any pain

I am glad it helps her. It’s legal where I live but it doesn’t help my pain. The CBD helps more.
heavyone2 · 61-69, M
@iamonfire696 I use CBD with Delta 8 , it helps and glad it helps you.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@heavyone2 it makes me tired. Does it make you tired?
heavyone2 · 61-69, M
@iamonfire696 Yes it does make me a bit tired, I usually take it at night or late evening.

That goes for hallucinogenic drugs also. Psylocybin, LSD, MDMA, etc.. is proven again and again that when micro-dosed, it has beneficial effects with respect to many ailments affecting mental health. Health regulators say it has no medicinal effects. I beg to differ.
