Busy week ahead

Our daughter is starting a five day gymnastics camp tomorrow. Although it is only a few miles away she is doing the full residential package for maximum fun! She'll come home for a night on Friday, then she is off to London with friends for a K-Pop experience. My wife has taken most of the week off work and we are looking forward to a few days of tranquility 😌

Daughter spent most of today at the beach while I packed her suitcase. While removing a large volume of sand from her hair, my wife gamely tried to impress on her and her friend a few rules for good behaviour over the week. Judging from the far off look in her eyes and the enigmatic smile playing on her lips, not much of that sank in 😅

They've turned in for an early night and I just checked on them both sleeping soundly. What a great week for a teenager to be healthy and alive! Not a care in the world and the most awesome sleepover ever to look forward to 😊
